ブルーベリー狩りができる「 T & A berry 長久手 」へ 今年は６月8日が開園日！【長久手タイムズ】
長久手市内で、ブルーベリー狩りができる農園があることを知っていますか。モリコロパークを望む陽当たりの良い丘陵の中腹に「T ＆ A berry 長久手」があります。ブルーベリーはとても繊細で収穫時期は６月から８月までの約３ヶ月。
「T ＆ A berry 長久手」では、50種類ものブルーベリーが取り揃えられていて、６月初旬の開園時と、７月、８月では実の成る月が異なることから、いつ訪れても魅惑の甘酸っぱいブルーベリーを楽しむことができます！
モリコロパークの南側を東西に走る田籾（たもみ）名古屋線から折れてT＆A berry 長久手に向かう小径
モリコロ・ジブリパークやIKEA長久手から車でわずか数分の丘陵のなかにあります。
緑の小径をクルマで１分程上ってくると視界が開け、目の前に白い覆い囲われたブルーベリー畑が現れます！ → T & A berry 長久手 サイトへ
ブルーベリーは繊細な果実で、栽培が難しい果樹だけあって、各々の品種が大きな鉢で育てられています。
美味で高級感のあるブルーベリー（栽培種）はこうして鉢で育てられるんですね。鉢には品種の名前が貼られているので確認しながら食べることができます。オーナーの小川隆則さんにいろんなお話を伺うとさらにブルーベリーへの関心が高まります。
とにかく広い非日常のベリー空間でひと時を過ごすのは格別！ 6月初旬の解禁日からブルーベリー畑の一番奥の早熟のブルーベリーから頂くことができます。品種としては、「ユウリカ」「パルメット」「スプリングワイド」「ハノーバー」あたりからとのこと。
今回訪れたのは５月17日の朝。６月８日（予定）の解禁日まであと３週間。まだ実は緑色ですが確実にふっくらと実ってきています。

オープンして４年目になるブルーベリー狩り農園「T ＆ A berry 長久手」では、オーナーの小川隆則さんが秋に収穫を終えたブルーベリーの木の枝葉を剪定するイベントなどをこれまで開催。今年は８月にブルーベリー狩りをしながらの「婚活パーティ」を企画。
イチゴ狩りは、カップルや友達同志、ファミリーでというイメージがありますが、ブルーベリーは甘酸っぱい大人の味覚。濃厚にして繊細な味のブルーベリーを食しながらきっと会話が弾むのでは。
ブルーベリーの花言葉
「実りのある人生」「知性」「信頼」「思いやり」
ブルーベリーは一度実をつけた枝からは翌年実を実らせることはないとのこと。剪定を間違えると翌年実は成りません。
この上方に真っ直ぐに伸びている枝葉が翌年実をつけます。今年秋、実が成った枝葉は、秋に剪定し切り落とされます。
６月８日（予定）に向けてのブルーベリー狩り開園日に向け、これから様々な準備がなされていきます。開園が楽しみです。
