幻のコメダ珈琲長久手店〜 公園西駅近く、創業の面影残すレトロ＆ノスタルジック感！【長久手タイムズ】
長久手市内には現在コメダ珈琲店は２店舗ありますが、じつはもう一店舗、破竹の勢いで日本全土と東アジアに急増するコメダ珈琲店とは雰囲気が異なるコメダ珈琲長久手店があります。リニモの公園西駅すぐ近くです。2018年をもって閉店したため、また閉店から６年目に入ってまだ独特な外観の建物が残ったままで「幻のコメダ珈琲店」と呼ばれています。
２階にモスグリーンの急傾斜の屋根に複数の上部の円形窓のあるデザインは、600店舗以上ある中でももうほとんど見かけなくなっているようです。じつはこの外観デザインと内装・内部空間が、1968年に名古屋で創業したコメダ本店の面影を残しているとのこと。恐らく1970年代半ばにはこの地で営業をはじめていて「元祖系コメダ」とも呼ばれています。
人気がまったくないと、どこかただならない空気を感じさせる。再開発が進む公園西駅周辺のなかでここだけが時間が止まっている。
全国600店舗以上あるコメダ珈琲店の店舗は、そのほとんどが洒落たカントリーなログハウス風で（店内は木が多く用いられコッテージ風）、三角屋根が連なる外観かビルの一階に収まっているので、２階に幾つもの上部が円形の飾り窓（ドーマー窓風）が取り付けられ、屋根が淡いグリーン色なのはまず見かけることはないのでは。
長久手店も通常のコメダ珈琲店でも用いられている明るい茶系のレンガ（同系色の木板もあり）も壁面にたっぷり用いられていますが全体的にログハウス風というよりは、英国やフランスの地方にあるような異国な雰囲気を醸し出しています。
創業本店にはこの白馬の彫刻はありません。入り口上部には前足を上げた勇ましい白馬の彫刻が、、異色なのはこれだけではなかった。
コメダ珈琲店は創業者・加藤太郎氏が1968年に一人で立ち上げ、1975年からFC化を始めています。
こちらは名古屋瑞穂区上山町にあるコメダ珈琲の本店。2022年に同じ場所に元の外観を活かして新たに建て替えられた建物です。
なんと店舗外観は、グリーン系統の屋根に上部半円の窓群が付いているではありませんか。
現在地のコメダ珈琲店の外観をあまりに見慣れてしまったため長久手店の外観を奇異に感じてしまっていたのです。
名古屋西区にあった１号店は、ロードサイドにある様な戸建てでなく、ビルの一角に間借りの継体でしたがビルの老朽化で2014年に閉店しています。
この変わった外観のコメダ珈琲店は、コメダ珈琲店の創業者のファミリーが始めた珈琲店兼焙煎所だったようです。もう一店舗が名古屋の今池にかつてあったとのこと。長久手店は2018年まで営業していました。設立年は不明（1970年代半ば辺り）。
コメダ珈琲店であるが「焙煎所」となっている。通常のコメダ珈琲店にはない店舗名だ。自家焙煎の煙突が中央に立っている。
左手のレンガで意匠された半円形の建物が、コメダ長久手店の独自性を物語っています。自家焙煎用の珈琲焙煎マシンが見えた。
通常、コメダ珈琲はセンターで味にムラが出ないよう50杯分ごとに急速冷却し、冷蔵配送し加熱しても味と香りが変わらない究極的方法が創業者の加藤太郎氏によってフランチャイズを始めるにあたって編み出されています。

コメダ珈琲長久手店では、通常のコメダ珈琲店と比べると珈琲の味が幾らか独自であったとのことで自家焙煎に拘る長久手店と今池店の２店舗が独自運営になっていったと推測されます。
長久手市内で現在営業しているコメダ珈琲店は以下の２店舗
【コメダ珈琲 長久手図書館通店】長久手中央郵便局の隣おいなる。常に地元民を中心に賑わい愛されている典型的なコメダ珈琲店である。私自身も友達たちの集まりでよく訪れる店舗である。
【コメダ珈琲 イオンモール長久手店】古戦場公園の道を隔てすぐ。イオンモールアネックス１階に入っている。イオンに寄る流れで利用する頻度も多いコメダ珈琲店である。とにかくゆったりと様々な席が準備されている。
この２店舗とも、今日のコメダ珈琲店の代表的外観やビルの１階に入居するケースと同じスタイルである。
リニモ公園西駅のほんとにすぐ近く。駅の向こう側は東海地方唯一のIKEA長久手店がある。
店舗の正面入り口。壁の右側には、この店が焙煎所でもあることを知らせるかのようなイラストが見える。
元祖系コメダ長久手店の経営は、創業者加藤氏の義理のお兄さん（清川氏。長久手市在住。現在は不明。東尾張、西三河方面で不動産関係のお仕事をされているという風の便り）が始められました。現在、建物が取り壊されず残っているのは、状況が揃えばまた復活させる可能性も僅かながら残っているためのようです。
正面入り口から奥に続く通路。通常のコメダ珈琲店と同様、通路も座席間隔もゆったりとってある。
店内はついこの前まで営業していたかのような鮮烈な赤いベロア地のソファが。
通常のコメダ珈琲店では絶対にお目にかかれない大ぶりな壺が幾つも窓際にディスプレイされていた。さすが陶器の街・瀬戸市の隣り街だけあります。
長久手には全国三大古窯に数えられる猿投古窯のエリアの一つにもなっていて陶器はとても身近な存在で、そのロケーションや地元感を反映させたしつらえなのかもしれない。
すぐ裏手はモリコロパークがあり、大観覧車も目の前。
店舗の駐車場と駐車場に通じる車道。駐車場は店舗のすぐ裏手。

閉店後も残っているパターンは2つ目ですね。(もうひとつは、中村区の長屋にあった店舗)
千種区の今池店も同じ系列のようですね。
中村区長屋にも閉店後に建物がそのまま残ってるのですね。そうですね、今池店が同系列ですね。
高道町にそれがありまして、Yahooマップに案内があってそれを頼りにしました。コメダらしい面影はそんなにありませんでしたが、面白かったです。
長久手店はいつか復活してほしいところですね。
