空が近い！小高い丘にある「長湫南部公園」- 長久手市の公園巡り❷ 【長久手タイムズ】
長久手市は愛知県下で、一人当たりの都市公園面積が最も広い自治体です。市内各所に大小さまざまな公園があります。公園面積的には、３位のみよし市の２倍、その半分程はモリコロパーク（愛・地球博記念公演 : 県の施設）があるためですが。それでも様々な空間や表情をもつ公園は、地元の方々の憩いの場所になっています。今回、「Nagakute Times」なりの視点で取り上げていきます。気になったら訪れてみてくださいネ。
第２回は、長久手市南部の市が洞地区にある小高い場所にある「長湫（ながくて）南部公園」です。
現在、長久手南部公園は、長久手南部の人口増加とともにさらに数が増えて、南部二号公園、南部三号公園、南部四号公園ができています。
公園のすぐ裏手の樹木は「ほとぎの里緑地」で、公園の右端から左端をぐるりと緑地になっています。緑地の中を分け入っていく高低差のある小径もあり人気の散歩道になっています。
「ほとぎの里緑地」のさらに裏手は広大な「猪高緑地」があります。公園で陽光を浴びた後は、森林浴を浴びてリフレッシュできます。長久手南西部から名古屋市東部にかけじつに豊かな緑地が広がっています。
ちょっと変わったクライミングウォールがあります。
人気のターザンロープ！ 勢い余って前方の市街地まで飛んでいきそうです。
思ったよりも広い遊び場もあり、いろんな世代の住民が思いのままに遊べます。
岡の下には噴水があり小さな子供たちには楽しい遊び場です。
上の記念碑には以下の、文言が彫られています。
「長湫南部地区は、組合区画整理によって整備された新しいまちです。住民は、もともとこの街に住んでいたわけでなく、それぞれの出自と個性を持っています。
そんな人たちが、このまちで偶然一緒に暮らすことになり普段何気なくあいさつを交わしたら、木陰でお話をしたり、せせらぎに遊んだりしています。
また、豊かに残る自然は、さまざまな生き物をはぐくみます。そんな人と人との縁、人と生き物との縁を結ぶ街になってほしいという願いを込めて」長久手市
公園から長久手南部・市が洞エリアの眺望。生徒数1,000人を超える市が洞小学校はすぐ近く。
写真は昨年11月末に撮影したものですが、紅葉も最後で落ち葉でいっぱいになっていました。
「結の塔」 – 人と人を結ぶ手、人が寄り添う姿をモチーフにしたモニュメントです。
長湫南部土地区画整理組合によって建てられた「竣工記念碑」。平成10年（1994年）に、長久手市南部に位置する長湫（ながくて）南部土地区画整理事業が施工されました。長久手市を取り巻く環境も大きく変貌する中で、高度化、多様化する住民のニーズに対応するため翌1995年に「長久手市第四次総合計画」が策定されています。その一環としての公園づくりでした。
事業コンセプト：「歩くことが楽しくなるまち」を基本コンセプトに、緑地と居住空間がおりなす新たな”緑住空間”の創出が基本理念。
南部公園の端にある「市ヶ洞１号窯後地」。長久手市内には、32の古窯が確認されています（長久手郷土史研究会）
「市ヶ洞１号窯」は、日本三大古窯の一つ「猿投古窯」の中で、「猿投山西南麓古窯跡群」に属するエリアにあります。長久手南部ではこれまでに４古窯が確認されています。他によく知られているのは、丁子田１号窯と東部の三ケ峯古窯。
日本三大古窯は、陶邑窯跡群（大阪府堺市ほか）と猿投窯跡群（名古屋市ほか尾張東部）、渥美窯跡群（愛知県田原市ほか）、あるいは牛頸窯（福岡県大野城市）です。古窯は古代に須恵器や瓦などを焼いた窯跡が多く集合していいる場所で、国内３カ所に集中していることから三大古窯付けられた。

南部公園は、子供たちに大人気の「夏祭り」の開催場所！
この南部エリアは長久手市の中でも最も新しい新興住宅地。日進竹の山地区につながるひらけたスマートな商業エリアとあいまって若いファミリーが最も多いエリアです。盆踊りには、AKB 48「365日の紙飛行機」や「クーテシナーガ」などが30分ごとにかかって若いジェネレーションもみな踊りを満喫。
南部公園での市が洞の夏祭り（第13回 2023年）の様子です。
「ほとぎの里緑地」の大きな樹木の前で、演奏会、盆踊りや花火大会が執り行われます。
AKB 48「365日の紙飛行機」がかかっていた。若い女性や子供たちが主役の盆踊り大会なのだ。
すらりとキッチンカーが並んで夏祭りを盛り上げます。近年、キッチンかーもほんとにパワーアップしています。
最後はハワイアンダンスや、公園内で点火できる小じんまりとした、人の手触り温もりが感じられる花火大会で締めくくられます。
