愛知県陶磁美術館、本館リニューアルOPEN記念式典へ❷〜となりの瀬戸市【Nagakute Times】
前回に引き続き愛知県陶磁美術館・本館リニューアルオープンの記念式典の一端をレポート致します
モリコロパーク・ジブリパークからリニモですぐ隣の駅に、一大リニューアルをへてオープンした陶磁美術館の存在はこのエリアの文化的、また観光面からも厚みのあるロケーションとなっていくのではと期待せざるを得ません
日本最大の古代の焼き物の一大産地にふさわしい陶磁美術館が再スタートを切りました！（撮影3月31日）

猿投窯 – 古代やきもの産地の頂点
この陶磁美術館が位置する場所は、古墳時代の５世紀から約９００年間にわたる古代の焼き物の一大産地の中にあります。美術館がある尾張東部丘陵はすぐ東方に見える聖山・猿投山(628m 宮内庁管轄の墓所が山腹にある）へと連なっています
猿投窯は、現在の行政区としては、瀬戸市、名古屋市、長久手市、日進市、豊田市、みよし市、刈谷市に広がっており、窯跡も1,080ヶ所にのぼる日本最大規模の窯跡になっています
猿投窯の絶頂期は９世紀の平安時代で、陶磁日本最高峰の緑釉陶器、灰釉陶器が平安京をはじめ日本各地に流通したといいます。この猿投窯の製陶技術がすぐ近くの瀬戸や常滑に継承されていきました

愛知県にも多くある縄文遺跡
現在、日本国内のみならず世界的にも「縄文（JOUMON）時代」は最大級の注目を集めています
それは世界４大文明の時代より遥かに遡る１万数千年前に火焔型土器や船型土器、穴を通すためくり抜かれた翡翠などが出土し、想像以上に高度な技術や文化があったことが自明になってきた
「縄文（JOUMON）」は新たな文明史を切り開く重要な鍵の一つになっています
愛知県には尾張、三河を問わず縄文時代の遺構がかなりあります。陶磁美術館の近くの瀬戸市山口地区や長久手市上郷地区にも縄文時代の遺構の記録があり、壮大な歴史や物語が埋まっているようです
地下展示会場の愛陶コレクション / （株）バッファローから陶磁美術館に寄贈されたあっと驚く作品「New Jomon : Haniwa Majin」（現代美術作家 岩村遠 作）に迎えられる
