記憶に残る「愛・地球博」の記録❷／撮影：荒木英夫【Nagakute Times】
今年４月より愛・地球博記念公園（モリコロパーク）では、「愛・地球博（愛知万博）」開催から20年を記念する「愛・地球博 20祭」の記念イベントが各所で開催されています
20年前ともなればひと昔前、長久手市民でもとくに小中高の若い世代が生まれる前のこと、関西・大阪万博がスタートした映像をメディアで見るなかで、かつてこの長久手の地で愛知万博が開催された実感はまず掴めないでしょう。
そこで「愛・地球博」とはどんな万博だったのか、記録写真を綴ったレポートの第２弾です
郷土史研究会会員の荒木英夫氏のご好意とご協力で、当時ファミリーで来場されていた際に撮影された写真をお借りすることができました。愛知万博を体験した方も、記憶の中の愛知万博をしばし甦らしてみてはいかがでしょう
