長久手市で初の「民泊」が、2023年１月にOPEN！ ジブリパークにつながる里山エリアにありジブリから最も近くにある宿泊施設です。
春からはアメリカ、オランダ、アイスランド、英国、フランスなど海外からの利用者が急増。混雑する東京観光でちょっと疲れた観光客にとって空が広く緑の多い里山の一軒家での宿泊は、彼らに心からの休息をもたらしてくれているようだ。

町屋ステイ「オリーブとぶどう」を運営する山下氏は、「とくに欧米からのお客様には本当にこの地での宿泊を心から喜んで頂いているのが分かります。お米の文化がない彼らにとって目の前に広がる田圃と里山の風景はまったく驚きのようで、ジブリパークに遊び、すぐ近くを流れる川に沿って散策し、自転車で駆け巡る。
夕刻には歩いて５分の所にある自然温泉「ござらっせ」の日本独特の露天風呂で心身ともに休息をとってもらい、温泉の向かいにある「アグリン村」で無農薬野菜やフルーツなどを買ってきて、ゆったり手作りのお料理。
今のところ平均２泊のお客様が多いですが、延泊をご希望の方が半数もいます」と、オープンしてまだ半年にもならないうちにすでに世界の観光客にも愛される町屋ステイになっている。

一棟貸切りで最大11人まで一度に泊まれ（ベッド８台＋４つの寝室）、何人泊まろうが一泊の料金は１万円代後半（時期によって変額あり）。仲のいい友人同士、２世代、３世代の複数の家族で利用するにはうってつけ。
すべての部屋にエアコンディショナー付き、卓球台、BBQ設備、キッチン用品、高速Wi-Fi有りの仕事専用スペース、バスルーム、大型TV、ペットOK、自転車３台、駐車場あり。
１棟ならではの役得、家の１、２階とも連泊中はどこに寝てもいいとのことで、今日は２階の屋根裏っぽい場所で寝てみるとしよう。
田圃の向こう側には、イチゴ狩りができる長久手スマイルベリーズがあります。
町屋ステイの名称「オリーブとぶどう」の名称は、１階に植えられたベランダのオリーブの木と、葡萄の木から名付けられました。葡萄の木は大きくなればベランダの上を這うようにしてあるとのことで、マスカットの葡萄を手でもいで食べることもできるそうです！
町屋ステイのすぐ近くの通りからは、モリコロパークの大観覧車が見えます。川沿いの遊歩道を歩いて約30分。自転車で15分程でジブリパークに到着できます。
