2024年12月、藤が丘に高層ホテルが誕生！〜「となりの藤が丘・名東区」【長久手タイムズ】
ジブリパークのフルオープンを１カ月後に迎え、藤が丘駅前のホテル建設が急ピッチで進んでいます。すでにご存知の方も居られると思いますが、どんなホテルか、またロケーションは知らない方も多くいるかと思います。進出ホテルは、Hotel Route Innです。ジブリパークの一次オープンを機に瀬戸駅前にオープンしたホテルと同じ全国区のビジネスホテルチェーンです。
名称は現在仮称で、「ホテルルートイン名古屋藤が丘駅前」と現場の建築案内看板に出ていますが。「ホテルルートイン Grand名古屋藤が丘」になる模様。地上12階。住所：名古屋市名東区明が丘51
ジブリパークの一次オープンに合わせて開業した瀬戸市の「ホテルルートイン尾張瀬戸駅前」店は、地上14階建てで総部屋数245室。
藤が丘駅前店は、総部屋数は230室とのこと。現在、急ピッチでの建設中でした。
12階建てとなったのは、すぐ隣に高層マンションが建っており、その上層、最上階からの眺望を遮らないためかと思われます。

ホテルルートインは、ルートインジャパン株式会社が運営しているビジネスホテル・チェーンのブランド名です。全国46の都道府県に進出しています。
全国にあるホテルルートインは規模は変わりますが外観はほぼ似たものとなっています。大浴場付きが一つのうりで、価格帯は手頃なラインで通常、無料のバイキング朝食がついてくるとのこと。
駐車場は尾張瀬戸駅前店も駐車スペースの問題からかなり少なめでしたが、藤が丘店も恐らくそのようになるのでは。クルマ利用の場合は、空きがなければすぐ近くに民営駐車場が各所にあるのでそちらを利用することになるでしょう。

ホテルルートインは、ジブリパークから北・西・南側３方向の主要アクセスに出店！
＊2026年以降予定、ホテルルートイン愛知東郷町（170室予定）を開業予定。
ジブリパークから半径10km圏内に、ジブリから北・西・南側の主要アクセスロードに、３つのチェーンホテルを開業することに。
すぐ裏手には明が丘公園があり、小山に樹木が生い茂っています。ホテルルートインは向こうのビル群の中に建つことになります。
藤が丘の駅から300m程の所にある緑溢れる公園で遊具もあり、地元の人や子供たちによく利用されているようです。
明が丘公園の頂きからは名古屋方面を見渡すことができます。
ロックガーデンがあります。デイキャンプ場もこの近く。
藤が丘駅南口にあるもう一つのホテル
2020年９月まで、藤が丘から北北西側にあった「サンプラザシーズンズ」（名東区藤里町1601 駅から徒歩約15分）が営業を終了しました。それまでは藤が丘にはホテルが２軒ありました。
藤が丘駅南口、道路を渡った角に建つ「ARK HOTEL」。リニューアルされています。総室数43室あるビジネスホテル。現在、改修中のショッピングプラザ「effe」の向いです。リニモの始発駅の藤が丘駅も目の前。とにかく便利な場所にあります。
駅の南口を出て僅か10mほどの場所。線路脇です。こんな駅前にホテルがあったのか、というような場所です。長久手市民はさすが藤が丘に泊まることはないのでなかなか立派なこのホテルの存在を知ってる人は少数派でしょう。
