梅雨に濡れた紫陽花の美しさ：モリコロパーク
モリコロパークでは、いま紫陽花（あじさい）が満開です。大花壇とは別の場所、南口のフィールドセンターの少し西側にあります。
フィールドセンターを真っ直ぐ行くと「サツキとメイの家」に10分程で到着する場所ですので、「サツキとメイの家」の行かれる方は、「あじさい園」に少しばかり寄られるのもいいでしょう（期間は、6/15までとのこと）。
このエリアは、モリコロパークの中でも南端になるため訪れる方は幾らか少ないようで、のんびりゆっくり自然に耳を傾けたい方にとってはうってつけかも知れません。
「あじさい園」の奥には、「愛・地球博覧会」（2005年開催）の痕跡としてグルーバルループが一部そのまま残されています。この写真の後方に少し見える白いブリッジがそれです。
「愛・地球博覧会」のグルーバルループの上から、左手奥に「あじさい園」を望む。このグローバルループの右側に、フランス館、ドイツ館、スペイン館、イタリア館、ギリシャ館、トルコ館など９館が「グローバル・コモン３（ヨーロッパ）」の会場になっていました。当時万博を訪れたことがある方には、微かな記憶とともに散策するのも一興です。
