３月16日フルオープン「魔女の谷」の今。大きな柵がとれ全貌が見えてきました【長久手タイムズ】
昨年11月に「魔女の谷」の全貌が発表されました。市内にも宮崎五郎監督デザインの「魔女の谷」のポスターが貼り出されています。2023年11月にオープンした「もののけの里」とはうって変わって、「魔女の谷」の雰囲気はヨーロッパ風になっています。そして全部で11もある建築物。
エリアの広さも2.9ヘクタール。これまでのエリアよりも圧倒的に広くなっています。周りはこんもりした小山に囲まれているので、ちょっとした一つの谷ごとエリアになっているイメージです。移動遊園地の様なジブリ的意匠のメリーゴーラウンドやフライングマシンもあってワクワクモード全開のエリアになりそうです。
フルオープンに向け駐車場の脇のお花畑も植え替えが行われ準備、整備が各所で行われています。
左手に「ジブリの大倉庫」
時計のあるエレベーター塔の上からの眺望。ハウルの城、魔女の家などが樹々が冬枯れになり姿を現しだしました。白い高い工事用の壁も取れました。初期設計図では建物の右前方に池があって、池の周りを散策できる回遊式庭園があるようです。最終的にジブリ式洋風庭園になるようです。
建物の施工は鹿島建設。設計（図面作製などの基本設計）＋管理業務が日本設計（東京・新宿）。スタジオジブリがデザインを監修しています。
日本設計は、「三鷹の森ジブリ美術館」を設計した会社ですね。
ジブリパークにはジブリの世界観を再現することから、映画作品の著作権を管理するスタジオジブリの監修と、ジブリの世界観の設計はもうこの会社しかないということで、スタジオジブリと日本設計の２社は特例措置による随意契約となっています。入札は行われませんでした。日本設計もまたそうだったんですね。
「三鷹の森ジブリ美術館」での実績と長年の信頼関係ということですね。「魔女の谷」以外も、日本設計が、設計・管理を全面的に担当しています。
丸い穴が空いた不思議な時計とシュールな塔が入り口の手前にあります。
レストラン棟が池の畔に建つそうです。その建物はれんが造りで、「半田赤レンガ建物」（愛知県・半田市）のイメージに近いとのことです。
「魔女の谷 Valley of Witches」の入り口ができあがっています。
「魔女の家」ですね
「ハッター帽子店」や「グーチョキパン屋」、「ハウルの城」などが奥に連なっています。
