長久手市は西部・南部の都会的エリアと田舎感が残る自然が豊かな東部里山エリが、分かりやすく存在していることでも知られています。市役所がある市の中央部の岩作地区には、場所によってはどちらの風景も混在して残る中間的エリアが広がっています
東部里山エリアは、ジブリパークの「となりのトトロ」で描かれた田舎の風景や昔の田園地帯がそのまま続いているような場所が香流川沿いに広がっており長久手を観光するにはうってつけです。
そこは自然と人との共生エリアで、実際に東部丘陵のなかにジブリパークも東部里山エリアの上郷地区も境界線なくつながっています
機会があればぜひ足を運んでみてはいかがでしょう。いろんな気づきと発見があるのではと思います
