12月１日の長久手古戦場公園の色（記録）
長久手古戦場公園は、長久手合戦が４月９日（天正十二年 1584年）であったこともあり、春の桜こそが合戦のあった季節と相まって見応えがある、というイメージがありますが、紅葉の季節に訪れて見るとなかなか秋も趣きがあるのです。撮影したのは12月１日。秋というより初冬でしたが紅葉は真っ盛りから少しばかり過ぎた頃だったでしょうか。
古戦場公園の裏側から見た景色。あまりこちらまで足を踏み入れる方は少ないかも知れませんが、紅葉も美しく石碑が正面からとはまた違った雰囲気に見えてきます。分け入るとかなり広く至るとこで大木が根を張り、その根が地上に波打って出て高低差のある少し険しい地形だったと感じます。
正面から石段を上っていく景色。この奥に資料館があります。とくに春や秋はクルマで来園されても正門の方へ一度まわられるのがおすすめです。
広場にあるこんもりとしたお椀のような小山は、長久手古戦場の地形が樹木と石組などで＜縮景＞として形作られています。
縮景の丘の頂きにあるのは、色金山の頂きの床机石を模した巨石です。家康が座って軍議を開いたという石です。
市の計画では、この縮景は役割を終えて平らに戻されるとのことです。見慣れた景色でもあるのでなんとなく寂しい感じもします。

石碑の周囲は黄葉でまっ黄色に。陽射しの角度によっては黄金色に輝きます。
