リニモテラスの使い方は100通り以上！ ミニコンサート、アート展覧会、tori8珈琲でサードプレイス…東畑建築事務所の名建築
長久手市を横断するリニモ（無人のリニアモーターカー）の「古戦場公園駅」のすぐ近くに、あっと驚くような平家建ての木造建築があります。2021年に完成した長久手市の公益施設「リニモテラス」です。市民に開かれたオープンハウス、サードプレイスとして様々な用途で用いられる機会が増えてきています。
ヒノキで組まれた木組みのラティス構造が美しく、設計を担った東畑建築事務所は、関西・大阪万博のシンボル的な木組みの大屋根リングの設計にも関わっています。
空間的にも建築的にも使い勝手のソフト面からも今後、近くの県芸大生たちや市民たちに様々に活用されていくでしょう。使い方はあなた次第。どんどん提案していって下さい。
香りの良いヒノキをもちいた木組のラティス構造で知られます。市民に開放された大廊下のオープンスペースでは、国際交流協会の日本語勉強会や絵本の読み聞かせ、アート・写真などの展覧会なども開催されています。
一番奥には姿鏡もありダンスの練習もできるとのこと。特に小さな音楽会・コンサートには最適で、愛知県立芸術大学の音楽教授のお話では、音響環境もよくいろんな演奏会にも相応しいとのこと。
ピアノは持ち込めますが、打楽器やエレキギターは使用不可とのこと。詳細：リニモテラスまでお問いわせ下さい。
設計者は、東畑建築事務所＋ナノメートルアーキテクチャー。リニモテラスは、その建築設計で、2022年度のGOOD DESIGN AWARD受賞しています。
また、第29回愛知まちなみ建築賞、第5回あいち木づかい表彰特別賞なども受賞。木は愛知県産のヒノキが使われています。建築目線からでも一見の価値ありです。
ラティス構造とは、枝状に分岐した格子を周期的に並べて立体形状をつくり出す構造のことです。
2020年頃の記録写真。施工者は服部工務店。木組みのラティスの建築は一度見てみたかった。相当難しい組み立て施工作業だったのではないかと想像します。
設計者の東畑建築事務所は、劇団四季・新名古屋ミュージカル劇場、関西・大阪万博の大屋根リング（藤本壮介＋東畑建築事務所＋梓設計）など数多くの建築設計をする建築設計のマスターである。他にもサッカーの京都サンガスタジアムや多摩パルテノンの大リニューアル、刈谷市総合文化センター、ロームシアター京都、同志社大学のキャンパス計画や武庫川女子大の各種施設など。
長久手岩作にある色金保育園（竣工2004年）とその隣に建てられた青少年児童センター（2007年）もまた、東畑建築事務所が手がけています。
ともに第16回愛知まちなみ建築賞を受賞している。ライトグリーンの屋根は、すぐ手前を流れる香流川と緑豊な長久手の風景とが呼応されています。

少人数の打ち合わせや趣味の会、習い事にも、子供たちとご一緒にどんどんご利用してください。授乳室もあります。

大廊下に加えて、小部屋が幾つもあります。「木かげの部屋」「日なたの部屋」「たたき土間の部屋」「土壁の部屋」です。「貸し部屋」（有料 １時間500円の部屋と1,000円の部屋）では、静かに集中して作業したり打ち合わせ、ワークショップなど各種活動にピッタリの空間です。畳のある和室もあります。
大廊下にあるtori8 COFFEE / 2023年７月に藤が丘のSHOPを閉じ、長久手リニモテラスに完全移転
「松本珈琲工房」（長久手市）の豆を使用。オリジナルブレンドから世界から厳選したシングルオリジンがあり、注文を受けてから一杯ずつ丁寧に淹れ提供。ハンドドリップの淹れたてスペシャルティコーヒーは絶品。焼き菓子やカレーなどもあります。
街中で「焚火」ができる？！ 一度のぞいて見たくなります。
ベルギー・ワーテルロー市との姉妹都市30周年記念の開催場所の一つとして。
リニモテラスのすぐ手前にある小さな畑。長久手楓（カエデ）祭りの日、その畑で芋掘り体験と、サツマイモのツルで子供達がリースを作る催しも行われました。子供に土に親しんでもらうのもリニモテラスの一つの目的とのこと。
リニモテラスのもう一つの建築的醍醐味の夕暮れになってから訪れます。さすが東畑建築事務所＋ナノメートルアーキテクチャーの設計は異彩を放ちます。仕事帰りにぜひ一度立ち寄って見られるのもおすすめです。
