第34回クラシックカー・フェスティバル in 長久手【長久手タイムズ】
長久手市の秋の風物詩となった「クラシックカー・フェスティバル」（トヨタ博物館主催 10月22日開催）。第34回のフェスティバルはコロナ禍明けということもあり、大勢のファンや市民がパレードの沿道を、そして午前11時ころには、セレモニー会場や体験ゾーンがあるモリコロパーク大芝生広場に集まりました。総勢120台！ 加えて博物館からの展示車両もあるので大変な台数です。
クラシックカー・フェスティバルが開催される街は、日本でもかなり限られます。長久手市が紹介される街情報に、盛大な「クラシックカー・フェスティバル」が毎年開催される街と、今後紹介されるようになるかも知れません。
朝９時半に公道パレードスタート。グリーンロードを名古屋方面に向かい、長久手南部の市が洞、日進岩崎竹の山に進み、古戦場通りを北上、長久手市役所前を進み、長久手東部の里山エリアを抜けモリコロパークへ。120台のすべての車両が到着するのは午前11時頃。
リニモの杁ヶ池公園駅近くの杁ヶ池交差点でのクラシックカーパレードの様子。朝早くにもかかわらず、どの沿道にも市民たちの姿が見られました。手を振るとドライバー達も手を振ってこたる風景はクラシックカーパレードならではです。

IKEA手前の熊田交差点で。車内を花束を飾ったファミリー。パレードをとても楽しんでられました。ドライバーに沿道から声をかけることなど日常ではあり得ないので、こうした交流もまたクラシックカーパレードですね。
